Czech Republic is a small country in the middle of Europe. There are about 10 milions inhabitants. The capital of Czech Republic is Prague. Czech Republic is well known for its history and culture.
The most known historical persons of Czech Republic are St. Wenceslas, one of the first rulers of Bohemia, sometimes also called patron of the country and Charles IV, probably most cultural and influential king of Czech lands, sometimes called father of the country.
Prague – the capital of Czech Republic – is very historical city. Sometimes we call it heart of the Europe. The nicest sights in Prague are: The Castle of Prague, Charles Bridge, Old town square with astrological clock on the town hall and Wenceslas square.
La República Checa es un país pequeño en el centro de Europa. Hay unos 10 millones de habitantes. La capital de la República Checa es Praga. República Checa es conocida por su historia y cultura.
Los personajes históricos más conocidos de la República Checa son San Wenceslao, uno de los primeros gobernantes de Bohemia, a veces también llamado patrón del país y Carlos IV, probablemente el rey mas cultural e influyente de las tierras checas, a veces llamado padre de la patria.
Praga – la capital de la República Checa – es una ciudad muy histórica. A veces lo llamamos corazón de la Europa. Las vistas más bonitas de Praga son: El Castillo de Praga, el Puente de Carlos, la Plaza Vieja con el reloj astrológico en el ayuntamiento y la plaza de Wenceslao.
My hometown is called Velké Meziříčí, it means a town between two rivers. It is town with over 11 000 inhabitants in Vysočina region. Velké Meziříčí is now growing fast thanks to the fact it´s located next to the highway between two biggest cities – Prague and Brno. First certified mention about Velké Meziříčí is from the year 1281. This year it is 606 years since gaining full town privileges.
There are 6 kindergartens, three elementary school and grammar school in Velké Meziříčí. There also is football, handball and volleyball club.
The most important sights in Velké Meziříčí is the castle, St. Nicholas church, two synagogues and town hall.
Mi ciudad natal se llama Velké Meziříčí, que significa una ciudad entre dos ríos. Es la ciudad con alrededor de 11 000 habitantes en la región de Vysočina. Velké Meziříčí está creciendo rápidamente gracias a que esta ubicada al lado de la autopista entre las dos ciudades más grandes – Praga y Brno. Primera mención certificada sobre Velké Meziříčí es del año 1281, este año es 606 años desde la obtención de todos los privilegios de la ciudad.
